Regency Assets Management Limited (“RAML”) was incorporated as a private limited liability company on the 5th of March 2004. The company commenced operations on 7th October 2004 as a full-fledge Assets Management firm dedicated to the deepening of the Nigerian financial system through the provision of a broad range of sophisticated products and services.
The company is an active dealing member of The Nigeria Stock Exchange and is duly licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), thus positioning the company as a dynamic player in the capital market segment of the Nigerian financial system.
Our present authorized and paid –up share capital stands at 1, 500, 000,000 ordinary shares of N1.00 each and N875, 000,000 respectively.

MR. GABRIEL OLUSEGUN OMOWAYE - MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mr. Gabriel Olusegun Omowaye – Managing Director/CEO. Mr. Omowaye holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics (1988) from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Ado. He has acquired over twelve years experience in capital market operations. His Stock Broking career started at FIS Securities Limited in 1990 where he worked as an Investment Analyst. He rose to the rank of Manager, Head of Corporate Finance in 1995 and later moved to General Securities and Finance Company Ltd as a Senior Manager in charge of corporate finance. He is an authorized dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. Before joining the company he was the Managing Director/CEO of Forte Asset Management Limited.
At various times during his career, he attended comprehensive training courses/seminars amongst which are on Investment Banking, Merger and Acquisition; Capital Issues; Assets Securitization; Proper pricing of Stocks in the secondary market; Superior Selling Skills Training Programme; Effective Marketing of Financial Services, Mastering Bonds etc
MR. MONDAY USIADE – HEAD, OPERATIONS/STOCKBROKING SERVICES
Mr. Usiade holds a Bachelor and Master Degree in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (1988) and University of Benin (1991) respectively. He also attended the University of Lagos where he obtained a Bachelor of Law Degree and the Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association.
Mr Usiade is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and an Authorized Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He has over a decade of experience in the capital market. Before joining Regency Assets, he had worked in other organisations in various capacities. These include Information Network Limited, TRW Stockbrokers Limited, ERNOK Ventures Limited, AYMN Investment Limited and First Atlantic Securities Limited.
He belongs to other professional bodies such as Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, The Nigerian Economic Society, The Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), The Certified Institute of Pension of Nigeria. He is well experienced in the provision of financial services include portfolio management, underwriting, issuing house services, merger and acquisitions, trusteeship, capital restructuring and debt/equity conversion, among others.
OLUREMI OYEDIRAN – HEAD, INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
Oluremi Oyediran is a Stockbroker, Finance and Investment Professional. He started his professional career in 2000, working as a Financial Analyst for Marks & Spencer, Kerry London Insurance, Abbey National Bank and Acentic GMBH while in the United Kingdom. In addition, he also worked at Nigerian Stockbrokers Ltd (NSL), an investment banking firm, and a subsidiary of Sterling Bank Plc, as a Financial Analyst/Portfolio Manager, managing investment portfolios, leading a team of four portfolio managers/analysts as well as overseeing the management of about N10 billion Assets Under Management (AUM) in the portfolio management department. He left NSL to join GTB Asset Management Ltd. (the investment banking division of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc) as Head, Research & Portfolio Management, where he was responsible for investment planning, portfolio management, research, proprietary trading, principal investments, client management, business development and management of N2 billion investment portfolios.
He attended Richmond upon Thames College, Twickenham, UK for his A-levels and he studied Chemical Engineering with a strong emphasis on Process Economics & Finance at London South Bank University UK, where he graduated with a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering with honors. However, with a thirst for Finance, he studied Finance further at Birkbeck College (University of London) and University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, England, where he earned a Diploma in Finance and also a Masters Degree in Accounting & Financial Management respectively. He specialized in Mergers, Acquisitions & Corporate Restructuring on his Masters degree. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, United Kingdom and a Member of the American Bankruptcy & Restructuring Institute (ABI). He has attended various professional training programs such as UKSIP (United Kingdom Society for Investment Professionals) Investment Management Training, Beaufort Institute South Africa Training for Analysts & Portfolio Managers and CFA Institute Financial Analyst Training. He is a bookworm and he is versatile in Corporate Finance, Investment Management and Business Strategy. He is currently studying for his CFA exams.
MR. ADEMUYIWA J. ABUBAKAR: HEAD, MARKETING
Mr. Abubakar holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Geography and an MBA degree in Business Administration in 1986 and 1990 respectively both from the University of Ilorin. He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). He commenced his working career in 1990 with Metropolitan Industries Limited as a Banking/Public Relations Officer. Before joining Regency Assets Management Limited, he worked variously with Nucleus Securities & Finance Limited, Dominion Trust Limited and later Intercontinental Securities Limited between 2001 and 2005 where he held several positions amongst which were Head of Trade Finance Unit (Credit & Marketing), Manager, Abuja Branch Office and Manager/Head of Business Development, Port Harcourt Branch Office.
He has over 17 years experience in the non-banking sub-sector of the Nigerian Financial Industry covering stock broking, Credit & Marketing and Business Development. He has also attended several developmental courses in Marketing of Financial Services, Advance Credit Management, and Regulation of Pension Funds in Nigeria: Issues and Benefits amongst others.
EHIMAH MICHAEL E – HEAD, FINANCE & ADMIN
Ehimah Michael. E attended Edo State University where he obtained B.Sc in Accounting & Finance. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigerian (ICAN), Associate member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) – Chartered. Ehimah started his career in 1999 as an Assistant Accountant with Generations Healthcare International Limited Lagos from where he joined Ernok Ventures Limited, Lagos as a Deputy Manager, Accounts.He is a pioneer member of Regency Assets Management Limited since inception in 2004. He has attended several comprehensive training courses on various aspects of Accounting, Auditing, Capital Market Operations and Finance.
MR. IYAFOKHAI ISAAC – HEAD, IT
Mr. Isaac Iyafokhai graduated with a BSc. Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering from the Lagos State University in 1998. He began his career as a system Support Engineer at Afrijet Airlines Limited in 1999 and subsequently with Oak Computers Limited as Assistant IT Manager until 2007, when he joined Global Asset Protection Nigeria Limited as Operation/Technical Manager. He joined the services of Regency Assets Management Limited in 2008.
Mr. Iyafokhai has attended various training programmes in areas including Data Base Management; Web Application Development and Integration; Networking and Security. Currently pursuing M.Sc in Information Technology.
MR. OBATOLA RICHARD OLUFEMI- RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Obatola Richard Olufemi holds a B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture from the University of Ibadan in 1985 and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ilorin in 1997.
MR SOLOMON O. ABIOYE - HEAD INTERNAL CONTROL.
Holds a bachelor degree in accounting (Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma in 2003) and masters dregree in Business Administration (MBA) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso in 2007.
He commenced his stockbroking career at Lighthous Assets Management Limited (formaly Rims Securities Limited) in 1993 He has worked in other non-financial sectors such as Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning, Oyo State (1980 -1981) and Karrington group of companies as internal auditor (2003 - 2008)

OUR DIRECTORS
PASTOR ADEWALE ADEOYE GBOLAHAN.
Mr. Adewale A.G. was a Banker and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN). He started his career as a Banker with Union Bank of Nigeria Plc in 1983. He left the services of Union Bank in 1989 to join Nigerian International Merchant Bank Limited (now Intercontinental Bank Plc) as the first Chief Inspector of the bank. Between 1991 and 1996, he served the Bank in various capacities at Management Level.
Due to his professional achievements and integrity, he was seconded to Equity Bank of Nigeria Limited in 1996 as the Head of Banking Service. He was promoted Deputy General Manager (1998) and General Manager (2000).
Mr. Adewale, being an intelligent and a brilliant banker moved up the career ladder as an Executive Director of the Bank in charge of Corporate Banking in January 2001, the position he occupied till his retirement from the Bank in February 2003. He is presently the Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Adelaide Resources Nigeria Limited.
JONATHAN TAYO OKUBOTE
Mr. Tayo Okubote is a graduate of Economics from the University of Ibadan with First Class in 1972. He holds an MBA in Management Sciences from the Columbia University, New York, USA (1977).
Mr. Okubote has attended many professional Training and Courses both in Nigeria and abroad. Amongst which are: Workshop on Budgeting in the Public Sector by Harvard University, Boston, USA, 1992; Course in Corporate Governance in Turbulent world at European Management School, University of Surrey, Guildford England, UK, 2000. Others are: Course in Senior Management with Philips Consulting, Johannesburg, South Africa, 2003; Stock Market Activities (Global Economic and Legal Frame Work, Marketing of Financial Services and Stockbrokerage Rule and Practices) for Stock Market Agents by Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, 2005.
He is a seasoned Public Servant. Mr. Okubote started his working career with the Federal Office of Statistics in 1972 as Assistant Statistical Officer in training. In Sept. 1993, he moved to Centre for Management Development, Lagos as Management Research Officer Grade II. He was transferred to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1979 as Assistant Chief Economist. And from Dec. 1979 to Dec. 1984 he was Head of Sales Planning Section of NAPIMS now Crude oil Sales Division. Mr. Okubote retired from Public Service in 2003 after 35 years of active service as Group General Manager, Corporate Planning and Development Division, of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Mr. Okubote has a good experience in Board Room politics. He was appointed a Non-Executive Director of a number of companies, amongst which are M-I Nigeria Limited (an Oil service company) 1999 -2004; Stallion Properties and Development Company Limited, 2002 -2004. Others are Nigeria LNG Company Limited, 1999-2001 and Bonny Gas Transport Limited, a Subsidiary of NLNG Company, 1999-2001. He is currently the Managing Director, Kristal-Tee Consulting Limited (a company that specializes in Oil & Gas, Capital Market and Real Estate).
Mr. Tayo Okubote is an awardee of many scholastic honors. He was the best student in Economics at the University of Ibadan, 1972; UAC prize for Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ibadan, 1972 and Faculty prize for the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ibadan, 1972.
He is happily married with children.
PRINCE (ENGR.) YEMISI SHYLLON:
Prince (Engr.) Yemisi Shyllon is a graduate of Engineering from the University of Ibadan with Upper Division in 1977. He holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing Management from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife (1980). Prince Yemisi also obtained BL and LLB (Upper Division) from the University of Lagos and Nigeria Law School respectively.
Prince (Engr.) Yemisi Shyllon is a fellow of a number of prestigious professional institutes amongst which are: Institute of Directors of Nigeria (affiliate, UK); Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE); Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM). Others are Chartered institute of Marketing, UK (FCIM); National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNIM) and Nigerian Institute of Agricultural Engineers.
He is a Member of the British Institute of Management (MBIM); Council of Registered Engineers (COREN) and Nigerian Bar Association. He is also a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He is an Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria (ACIS) and an Authorized Dealing Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Prince (Engr.) Yemisi Shyllon has a towering experience in Board Room politics. He is the Principal Partner, Adedoyin & Co. (1992 to date); Chairman, Claude-C Automotives Limited (1994 to Date), Director, Thai Farms International Limited (2007 to Date). He is the Chairman Board of Directors, Niger Vision Technical Company Limited (2006 to date). He was Marketing Director Designate, Nigerite limited, (1983 -1984) and Executive Director (Marketing) Nigerite Limited 1984 to 2007.
Prince (Engr.) Shyllon has attended many Workshops and professional Courses both locally and overseas. He has authored and delivered many scholarly professional papers, some of which have been published in Journals and Newspapers. He has also presented many papers at Seminars and Workshops.
A widely traveled professional, Prince Yemisi has visited a number countries in all the continents of the world.
He is happily married with three children.
MR. OMOTAYO MUFUTAU BABALAKIN
Mr. Babalakin is an architect of great repute. He is the founding Partner of Klif Consulting, a renowned Architectural Partnership providing Architectural, Building consultancy and Project Management Services to high profile clientele.
Mr. Babalakin is a Director in a number of companies amongst which are Building Consultants Limited and Structural Design Consultants Limited which specialize in providing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil and Structural Design Services in the Nigerian Building industry. He has over 22 years of significant experience in Hospitality, Institutional, Commercial and Educational Projects both in Nigeria and Ghana.
Mr. Babalakin holds a B Sc. (second Class Upper) and M Sc. in Architecture both from the Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria. He is also holds a Graduate Diploma in Energy Studies (Climate Responsive Architecture) from the famous Architectural Association School, London. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects and currently the Secretary of the Association of Consulting Architects of Nigeria (ACA Nigeria).
ENGINEER (PASTOR) ADENIYI JIMOH YAYA (MIEEE)
Engineer Adeniyi graduated from University of Lagos with B.Sc. in Electronics in 1994. He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical / Communication Engineering in 2000 and M.Sc. Communication Engineering respectively.
He has meritoriously worked in Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) for 28 years.
A Member of Institute of Electrical And Electronics Engineers of USA (MIEEE), Communication Society (COMSOC), He is currently the Project Manager for CDMA Network Expansion which comprises construction and installation of 83 cell sites across Lagos State.
He is married with children.
MR. JOSEPH NDUBUISI OKOROAFOR.
Mr. Okoroafor J.N. is a graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a B.Sc Marketing and MBA in 1984 and 1987 respectively. He started his banking career with First Bank of Nigeria Plc in 1987. He worked in various branches and corporate development division at the head office before leaving for Credite Bank to start up Idumota Branch as the head of operations in 1991. He left Credite Bank in 1993 to join Zenith Bank Plc as a Branch Manager and was subsequently promoted Deputy Group Head Indigenous Conglomerate, the position he occupied till his voluntary retirement from the Bank in 1995.
He is currently the Managing Director of J.P.Solutions & investment Limited, a foremost investment and pension consultants
